VEHICLE DISPLAYS
Expect to see 500+ vintage, classic and modern classic vehicles on display.
In addition, there will be a variety of private vehicles displayed by age (pre-60s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s onwards) and category (sports and convertibles, kit, custom and replica and American) plus a wide range of club stands and displays from the likes of Cheshire Classic Car Club, Jaguar Enthusiast Club (Cheshire, Staffs, Red Rose and Wirral regions), Mercedes-Benz Owners Club (Cheshire, N. Wales, and N. Staffs regions), Stag Owners Club, MG Owners Club, XR Owners, Fords and Friends and the MR2 Drivers Club.
In the classic bike section, up to 100 vintage and classic motorcycles will be on display including models from the likes of BSA, Norton and Velocette.
CONCOURS
All exhibiting vehicles are automatically included in the vehicle judging and awards process which will be overseen by experienced vehicle commentator, radio and social media personality Mark Stone and car and motorcycle judge and previous winner of the Isle of Man TT, Peter Fleming. Mark and Peter will present awards across all vehicle categories and culminating in the Pride of Ownership, Club of the Show and Car of the Show awards.
The vehicle concours is located in the event arena and provides a much-loved central feature to the event. Mark will interview owners regarding their restoration projects and vehicle stories and provide interactive entertainment throughout the event. If you have an interesting vehicle or a story behind it, feel free to let Mark know and he may just arrange for you to be interviewed!
Each vehicle exhibitor entering the arena for judging is eligible to receive a unique and complementary commemorative plaque.
TRADE, AUTOJUMBLE AND RETAIL
There will be a retail village featuring a number of trade and autojumble stalls selling a range of hard-to-find parts, merchandise, memorabilia, craft and vintage items.
MODERN VEHICLE DEALERSHIPS
The event may feature a selection of modern vehicle dealership and manufacturer exhibitors. If any dealerships are confirmed, they will be announced ahead of the event via our email newsletter and our Facebook page. Visitors can learn more about the latest models, technology and finance products from knowledgeable staff who will be on hand to answer queries.
FOOD AND DRINK, TOILETS
A wide selection of quality food and drink is available from a range of on-site catering facilities including a bar, confectionery and ice cream vendors.
Portable and permanent male, female and disabled toilet facilities are available.
THE GROUNDS AND VISITOR INFORMATION
The event is located at Hardwick Hall Hotel – a well established venue renowed for its scenery and at the host of various high-profile events in the North East.
Visitors attending the Classic Car & Motorcycle Show benefit from full and unrestricted access to the entire Hardwick Hall site without extra charge.
OTHER INFORMATION – DOGS, CAR PARKING ETC
We are a very dog friendly organisation and dogs are allowed at the event. We kindly ask that visitors keep their dogs on leads at all times and use the on-site dustbins to dispose of any dog waste.
Ample car parking is available and is provided free of charge. Upon arrival at Hardwick Hall visitors will be directed to park before leaving their vehicles and entering the event.
DIRECTIONS
Just North of the A177/A689 Roundabout at Sedgefield, a few minutes from the A1(M) Junction 60 or the A19. Follow the A177 North for 200 meters from the roundabout towards Durham and our driveway is on your left.
The venue is sign posted via permanent brown road signs and on event weekend will also include temporary, hi-vis ‘vehicle show’ road signs directing visitors and exhibitors into the relevant entrance points.
